Novel gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were successfully synthesized using Parkia speciosa Hasskseed extract. This natural plant extract acts as a natural bioreductor due to its hydroxyl functional group, confirming the presence of flavonoids. UV–Vis spectrum shows the absorbance of AuNPs colloids at 530 nm. FT-IR spectra present the stretching vibration of –OH, C=C, C–H, and C–N functional groups, which were ascribed to the capping agent at the AuNPs colloids surface. XRD analysis exhibits that the crystallite size of AuNPs and hand soap@AuNPs were 22 and 24 nm, respectively. TEM analysis reveals that the morphology of AuNPs colloids had a spherical shape with a range of particle sizes approximately 5–20 nm. The hand soap and hand soap@AuNPs possess a height foam stability of 2.567 and 4.000 cm within 15 min. UV–Vis spectrophotometer measurement possesses that AuNPs can effectively enhance the foam stability on hand soap. Furthermore, AuNPs exhibits excellent stability colloids in hand soap for 30 days with no significant change in the structure and particle size. This work suggests a facile approach to fabricate AuNPs with remarkable stability for potential cosmetics applications specifically in hand soap products. |
