Abstrakt: •The presence of sulfur with fuel should be removed or minimized to control the environment pollution, equipment corrosion and catalyst poisoning.•Oxidation desulfurization is promising technique due to its working under not harsh operation conditions.•Molybdenum trioxide nanoparticles was loaded on carbon nanotubes for MONP/CNTs catalyst synthesis•The activity of prepared catalyst was show good removing for sulfur .
