Abstrakt: •We test cognitive and mechanical performance in four different bonus schemes modelled after Loss Aversion and the Yerkes-Dodson Law•We find no evidence that High (vs. Low) and/or Loss (vs. Gain) framing of bonus schemes affects cognitive performance•We find no evidence that High (vs. Low) and/or Loss (vs. Gain) framing of bonus schemes affects mechanical performance
