Results: The study population consisted of 34 female patients treated for laryngeal cancer at the Otolaryngology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, between 2011 and 2017. The data were collected in a retrospective manner, based on the analysis of patients’ medical records. The mean age of the total cohort is 56.5 years. Twenty-six patients (76.5%) had supraglottic carcinoma, 7 patients (20.5%) had glottic carcinoma, and only 1 patient (3%) had subglottic tumor. The regional disease of the neck affected 18% of the patients. Ninety-one percent of the patients showed a moderate degree of tumor differentiation.
