Die Bedeutung von Analogaufschlüssen des Oberjura für die Interpretation der Lithologie der geothermalen Tiefbohrung Geretsried

Abstrakt: For the geothermal deep borehole Geretsried, analogue samples from outcrops of the Franconian and Swabian Alb as well as of the Helvetian facies in Vorarlberg were taken, to characterize the hydrogeothermal reservoir in the southern Molasse basin. These analogue samples were investigated by sedimentological, petrophysical, and geomechanical characteristics. Aim of this study was to compare and correlate the investigated analogue samples to the carbonatic reservoir rock of the Upper Jurassic in the vicinity of the geothermal deep borehole Geretsried. The analogue study reveals that the selected analogue samples of the chosen outcrops show a good fit with the Upper Jurassic reservoir rock within the southern Molasse basin. In addition, the diversity regarding the different facies of the carbonate rocks, limestones and dolostones was determined. Hence, reservoir models for the Upper Jurassic aquifer in the area of Munich can be built upon characteristic and representative rock parameters in the future.
