Examples make clear, that structure-mechanics basing on the geological surveying of details combines with geophysics, prospect drilling and remote sensing can make an essential contribute to clear up in time the complicated structure of numerous deposit sections and by this also to an optimal and economic hard-coal mining. The deformation analysis can give informations about the structure of the strata in the surroundings of structure-mechanic measuring points. Analysis scans show the arrangement and the three-dimensional development of fracture and fault zones in the strata. For the miner, tectonic deformation numbers deduced from the analysis-results, are a good aid for the short- and middle-term planing of the working places, as well as plans of value numbers and value lines even for the long-term planing of mining. |
