Abstrakt:	The p-nitro-alpha-acetylamino-beta-hydroxypropiophenone (NAP) differential test for the identification of Mycobacterium tuberculosis recovered from clinical specimens was evaluated by two laboratories and found to be a rapid and accurate procedure with a specificity exceeding 99%.
