Abstrakt: •Crafting nanoflowers-type MnCo2S4architecture electrode material has been developed by efficient hydrothermal approach.•Crafting nanoflowers-type MnCo2S4-based supercapacitor can afford rich active sites for redox reactions.•Crafting nanoflowers-type MnCo2S4-based supercapacitor disclosed excellent electrochemical activities.•Crafting nanoflowers-type MnCo2S4-based supercapacitor delivers higher specific capacitance of 779 F g−1at 1 A g−1.•Crafting nanoflowers-type MnCo2S4-based supercapacitor delivered good cycling stability.
