Abstrakt: The S-i response LASL/EG&G television system was used on the 100-cm f/7 Naval Observatory telescope and the 91-cm fI 13.7 McDonald Observatory telescope to observe 12 of the 14 CIT-object fields given by Ulrich et al. (1966). We confirm the identifications given by Ulrich et al. for CIT 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 14. Our near-infrared images show the probable optical counterpart for CIT 3 and CIT 10. CIT 6 is found to be a close binary with only one component very red in the near-infrared. The field for CIT 13 contains a very red object that does not correspond with either the star identified by Ulrich et al. or a star on the Palomar Sky Survey plates. Key words: television sensors - near infrared - CIT objects
