Abstrakt: •86.2% chicken meat were contaminated, 17% contaminated higher than 4.0 Log cfu/g.•a very significant number of campylobacteriosis cases (1person/66).•5 infections will occur for every 100 döner kebab consumptions.•A validation model was running based directly on döner kebab servings data.•Döner kebab cooking effect and intervention at the slaughterhouse had a large impact on the result.
