We successfully produced the multicharged osmium (Os) ions using metal ions from voatile compounds (MIVOC) method from a RIKEN 18 GHz electron cyclotron resonance ion source (ECRIS). Beam intensities of Os28+,33+ions were 10 and 2.5 eµA at the RF power of 250 W, respectively. |
