A New Approach to the Study of Fokker-Planck Equation with a Bistable Potential-Numerical Verification

Abstrakt: For the time evolution determined by a Fokker-Planck equation with a bistable potential, a two-time region approach, i.e., the initial region of linearization of the drift force followed by the extensive region where the -expansion of Green's function is applicable, is suggested to replace the three-time region approach of the scaling theory. A numerical computation confirmed this approach.
