•Utilization of solvents at atmospheric pressure and supercritical CO2(ScCO2) for delamination of a photovoltaic (PV) module.•Determination of the best operating parameters for separation of the different fractions of the PV module.•Determination of the recovery efficiency and purity of the different fractions present in the PV module.•ScCO2with toluene showed advantages in terms of solvent volume and time.•The recovery of the solar cell and EVA above 85 % is satisfactory and allows the recovery of silicon and silver. |
