Abstrakt: Controlling perioperative risk factors to minimize potential sources of morbidity in orthognathic surgery is of paramount importance. The surgeon must constantly reassess the choice of particular treatments and techniques. One must avoid becoming what Richard Feynman refers to as “individuals who don't learn by understanding: they learn by rote, or something. Their knowledge is so fragile!”
