Abstrakt:	•ZnO-NP were synthesized by chemical method in alkaline condition.•ZnO-NP were characterized using UV–vis spectroscopy, SEM, TEM, FTIR.•ZnO-NP, ciprofloxacin and ZnO-NP conjugated- ciprofloxacin were tested against pathogenic bacteria.•ZnO-NP conjugated- ciprofloxacin produces synergetic antibacterial activity.
