Abstrakt:	•Preventing the advent of antibiotic-resistant bacteria requires strict compliance with the standard precautions, particularly with regard to disinfecting hands with hydro-alcoholic hand rub, the currently recommended technique.•This study measures the efficacy of a hydro-alcoholic product on four emerging resistant bacteria in vitro.
