Abstrakt: The classical treatment of isolated lateral or divergent Lisfranc injuries of the foot is open reduction and internal fixation. Closed reduction techniques reported in literature don’t give consistently optimum outcome. Open reduction has its own share of complications, especially related to the soft tissue condition. We present a novel closed reduction technique using intermetatarsal reduction screw, followed by temporary internal fixation. We could achieve good clinico-radiological outcome without any complications in all the eight cases that we performed. We recommend this technique in all cases of isolated lateral and divergent Lisfranc injuries of the foot.
