Abstrakt: | The reaction of substituted benzaldehydes with tribromoisocyanuric acid and triphenylphosphine led to the corresponding benzylidene dibromides (95-99%). Similar reaction using trichloroisocyanuric acid produced benzylidene dichlorides (38-96%). |
