ABSTRACT: This article aims to address the application of the prohibition of contradictory behavior as a rule of control of procedural acts performed during arbitration proceedings. It is understood that such a rule, in a procedure that does not have preconceived and pre-defined rules of estoppel, may be a useful tool to protect the continuity of the arbitral procedure. The application of the rule ensures that the parties are not surprised by acts aiming, illegitimately, to prevent the achievement of a valid judgment that respects the due process. |
