Abstrakt: •Varied levels of yeast fermented date palm seed meal (DSM) were included in Nile tilapia diets (0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 %).•Fermented DSM significantly affected the growth performance and feed utilization in a dose dependent manner.•Dietary fermented DSM significantly increased the activities of digestive enzymes and intestinal morphometry.•The blood haemato-immunological variables were altered by the inclusion of fermented DSM.•The inclusion of fermented DSM at 11.44–17.44 % can be used efficiently in tilapia’ diets.
