Under controlled inoculation, a set of 10 accesions of wild Pisum sativumspecies, subspecies and varieties was studied for resistance to Fusarium solaniand Fusarium oxysporum.The screening was carried out in a growth chamber by using tube test. The observation of visual symptoms on roots and stems showed substantial differences in the response among the Pisum sativum accessions under study. There was no complete resistance to both pathogens. Very high level of resistance was recorded in four accessions of P. sativum (W 1957, W 1824, W 1828, W 1872). |
