Synchronization of Josephson junctions by a resonant transmission line

Abstrakt: The coherent behaviour (phase locking) of a serial array of two Josephson junctions loaded by a transmission line with an open end is investigated both analytically and numerically. The junctions can be synchronized in-phase as well as anti-phase for up to 15% spread of their critical currents if the parameters of the system satisfy the obtained resonance conditions.
