Five triterpenoid saponins, mussaendoside O (1), mussaendoside G (2), mussaendoside U (3), mussaendoside P (4), and mussaendoside Q (5) were isolated from the methanol extract of the aerial parts of Mussaenda glabra. Their chemical structures were determined using NMR spectra, ESI‐MS, as well as in comparison with the reported data. These compounds have been reported from the Mussaenda glabrafor the first time. |
