The three genera Athroisma, Blepharispermumand Leucoblepharishave previously been placed in the Inuleae.They constitute a monophyletic group whose inclusion in the Inuleaeis rejected, on the basis of morphological evidence, and who instead belong to the Ecliptinaewithin the Heliantheae. |
