Chemogenetically induced protein degradation, fluorescence microscopy, and immunoprecipitation were used to investigate membrane targeting and assembly of the multiprotein complex TORC2 in yeast. Our findings pinpoint the essential subunit Avo3 (a counterpart of mammalian RICTOR) as pivotal for TORC2 PM localization and assembly in vivo. |
