Abstrakt: In the past years, advances in pediatric cardiovascular surgery have occurred in many areas with some of the greatest strides being made in complex repairs in younger age groups. Aggressive early corrections while higher risk, may in the long run provide a child with a normal anatomic heart, and corresponding myocardial growth and physiology.
