| Abstrakt: | An analysis of my experimental data, along with some published data, leads to the conclusion that the time exponent of Lewis-Kostiakov's infiltration equation may at some time assume a value greater than 1. The traditional notion that this exponent will always be less than or equal to 1 is unfounded. A mathematical probe into this equation also corroborates this contention. It is further established that Lewis-Kostiakov's and Philip's infiltration equations are identical. |
