Abstrakt: Retenfion of strontium-85 following a single ingestion in a normal man has been measured up to 212 days. It is shown that the retention can be fitted to a three-term exponential function from 2 days after ingestion or to a power function from 30 days after ingestion. The values of f2and fwwere also determined. The value of fwfor the total body of the subject was 0.13, and f2and fwfor the bone were 0.20 and 0.025, respectively. The spatial distribution of strontium-85 is also shown in the paper.
