Abstrakt: When amounts of synthetic ascorbic acid varying from 0.5 to 30 mg were instilled into the human bladder, 92 to 107% was present in the urine after periods of 1 to 5 hours. It is, therefore, concluded that no appreciable destruction of ascorbic acid occurs in the human bladder.
