Abstrakt: Naturally hypercholesteremic dogs serve as useful animals in determining the value of unsaturated fatty acids for reducing plasma total cholesterol. Unsaturated fatty acids (linoleic or ethyl linoleate) bring about a significant and consistent reduction in plasma cholesterol.
