In this paper, Auger spectroscopic analysis data are presented for the relative amounts of different ingridients in complex additives (or their secondary products) embedded in galvanic coatings during the process of bright acid copper plating. The data contributed significantly to revealing the possible levelling mechanism as a specific variant of the diffusion-adsorption mechanism. The detailed consideration of the action of each component rendered it possible to improve and to develop further new composite additives, ensuring the deposition of bright, ductile and well-levelled copper coatings. |
