Abstrakt: We are sad to announce that in May and June this yen we have lost two major contributors to our EMC discipline. First to pass away is our good EMC Society friend Professor Shuichi Nitta. He was a gracious and pleasant colleague who we have seen at many IEEE EMC Symposia over the years. In fact, he was a member of the Society's Board of Directors between 2004 and 2006 as well as served 15 years as an advisor for the IEEE Transactions on EMC. Secondly, we lost Professor Yougang Gao who was considered the founder of the Chinese EMC community and served as past chairman of the Beijing EMC Chapter. He is also well known for organizing the international symposium on EMC in Beijing four times. His association with EMC and organizing internally in China 25 national EMC conferences speaks to his dedication to EMC and hence all of us. You will see the impact both had by reading the many tributes that follow the description of their careers.
