The elderly patient with ovarian cancer requires individualized diagnosis and management. The aggressive use of surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy is required for a probability of cure or an increased survival. Associated medical and physiologic changes in the older patient must be evaluated and taken into consideration for an effective outcome. |
