Abstrakt: Abstract:This research examined the relationship between Adlerian lifestyle dynamics and pathological narcissism (PN) in university students in Iran. Participants of the study consisted of 288 first- and second-year undergraduate students from five universities in three different cities in Iran. The sample was recruited through a convenient sampling method. Participants completed the Pathological Narcissism Inventory and BASIS-A Inventory. Data analysis by Pearson’s correlation coefficients and hierarchical regression analysis revealed that many lifestyle personality attributes measured by the BASIS-A were correlated to PNI components. Some lifestyle predictive variables for PNI were also found. Implications for counseling practice are included.
