| Abstrakt: | This article discusses writing disorder, a developmental disorder that is almost always present in children with developmental reading disorder. Writing disorder begins with spelling difficulty, believed to be the result of phonologic awareness deficits, and later involves difficulties in punctuation, syntax, quantity of output, text organization, and communication effect. The developmental course of writing disorder is discussed as well as diagnosis and appropriate treatment. |
