| Abstrakt: | Reaction of t-butyllithium with meso-tetraphenylporphyrin gives two di- t-butyl-dihydroporphyrins, the addition occuring at positions 2,3 or 5,10. 5,10-di- t-butyl-5,10-dihydro- meso-tetraphenylporphyrin adopts a helicoidal structure as shown by its X-ray crystal structure. |
