Abstrakt: A 23-year-old collegiate basketball player suffered repetitive ankle sprains throughout his career. After the most recent ankle injury, he reported pain in the left Achilles tendon and lateral ligament complex. He was referred for magnetic resonance imaging and was diagnosed as having degenerative osteoarthritis in the ankle joint.
