In vitrocytotoxicity of a series of cis‐platinum(II) complexes bearing piperidine

Abstrakt: In vitrocytotoxicity of a series of complexes cis‐[PtCl2(piperidine)(L)] complexes (L: another amine or olefin) and cisplatin against four human cancer cell lines Hep‐G2, RD, MCF7 and Fl has been evaluated. The results show that most of these complexes exhibit inhibiting abilities on 1‐3 tested cancer cell lines (Hep‐G2, RD, Fl) with IC50values ranged from 1.70 to 9.41 μg/mL, which are lower than that of the referenced cisplatin.
