Many researchers and practitioners recognise supply chain integration as a critical success factor in supply chain management. This study develops an improved measurement model for this factor grounded in resource dependency theory and employing principles from multiple fields such as supply chain management, information systems management, and inter-organisational relationship management. This re-conceptualised model is validated by a large scale empirical study involving 154 business units. Confirmatory factor analysis helps assess the construct validity of the new measurement model. |
