Abstrakt: AbstractThe present paper informs about allele frequency, distributions for the two VNTR loci (DIS80. Apo BII) in East Slovak-Romanics The results arc compared with the data of non-Romany Slovak population. Twelve segregating alleles were detected in a total sample of 87 Romany individuals. The most frequent alleles were 37 and 35 on the locus for ApoBII gene 37/37 occurs as the most frequent genotype in East Slovak-Romany 13 alleles were detected in a total sample of 46 Romany individuals on the locus DIS80- 24 and 18 alleles and 24/24 genotype were the most frequent in Romany individuals. This paper is part of the scientific research program “Ethnogenesis, somatic and healthy specifics of Romany ethnicum”No. C 519/4.
