| Abstrakt: |
A review is given of photoemission measurements in metallic glasses with emphasis on Zr- and Y- based transition metal glasses. The density of electronic states as a function of energy obtained from such experiments provides a framework for understanding many of the properties of this interesting class of materials. Special emphasis is given in the present work to the relation between the electronic structure of glasses and their superconducting properties. |
