This article, which consists of two interviews, tells the story of the creation of a remarkable school in Quito, the capital city of Ecuador. In the first segment, Professor Gerald Abegg of Boston University, who played a significant role in the design and development of Colegio Menor, recounts his experience. The second segment is drawn from an interview with Ana María Chacón, an Ecuadorian preschool teacher who became director of Colegio Menor's Early Childhood Program. Both interviews were conducted and recorded by lane Lannak. |
