An automatic air sampling system has been combined with a direct reading spectrograph into a mobile cabinet for the continuous quantitative determination of beryllium particulate matter in air. An analysis is reported every 75 sec with a precision of about 20% at the 95% confidence level. Sensitivity is about 0.5 μg/m3beryllium. |
