| Abstrakt: | A simulation tool for column startup is developed in the presented paper. The approach used is based upon a mathematical model founded on the conservation laws, the equilibrium relationship as well as pressure, holdup and heat transfer correlations. The global Newton-Raphson method is used to solve the described equations. |
