Effect of Birth Order, Sex, and Family Size on Affiliation with Encounter Groups

Abstrakt: Results of a survey of 88 central Illinois senior college students showed that birth order significantly influences willingness or unwillingness to join encounter-type groups. The research hypothesis that later-born males from larger families would be more willing to join encounter groups was supported by this study.
