College Students' Concept of Adulthood

| Abstrakt: | 60 second-year college students wrote essays describing their concept of adulthood. Classification of the essays indicated that the students possessed relatively well-differentiated concepts of adulthood. Their concepts of adulthood, however, did not generally include the idea of formation of personal identity. |
