Abstrakt: Background: haemodilution has proven to be a safe method that decreases dependence on donor blood for patients undergoing radical hysterectomy and bilateral pelvic lymphadenectomy. We present a prospective study with the aim of defining the role of acute limited normovolaemic haemodilution in the conservation of banked (homologous) blood.
