| Abstrakt: | Based on evaluation of data obtained from 1972 through 1991 at the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, congenital ocular abnormalities of the horse represent 5.3% of the ocular diagnoses. Commonly reported congenital abnormalities are reviewed. Frequently, inaccurate information is provided to owners of horses affected with congenital lesions. This article summarizes useful material to be used by students, veterinarians, and horse owners. |
