| Abstrakt: | Salsola vermiculatavar. villosais one of the most important forage shrubs in the arid zones of Syria, the Middle East, and North Africa. Overgrazing, however, has restricted the species to nonsaline, rocky mountain slopes and to saline sebkhas. |
