Stricture consequent to tracheostomy or intubation and prolonged ventilatory support has become an increasingly frequent clinical problem. The authors stress the value of the ventilating bronchoscope both as a means of establishing and maintaining an airway and of defining visually the required extent of tracheal resection. |
